Use of the CCE / MCCE / ISFCE Logo
Current CCEs can officially use the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE)® title. The Certified Computer Examiner (CCE)® is a trademarked phrase and may only be used with the written permission of the ISFCE.
The requirements to display the CCE logo are as follows:
- Current CCE certified individuals may display the CCE logo
- Others may display the logo, but must have written permission from the ISFCE to do so
- The Certified Computer Examiner (CCE)® mark may be listed on a website, but must be linked to www.isfce.com and be directly associated with the name of the certified individual.
- The logo is only issued to certified individuals and may not be placed on a web site without indicating the certified individuals name
The ISFCE reserves the right to withdraw the approval to use this trademarked logo at any time and for any reason the ISFCE deems appropriate.
Use
of Organization's ListServ, Forum and
Chat Rooms
CCE ListServ
members may post questions about technical
issues and other issues pertinent to the
field and science of computer forensics.
Protracted technical discussions should
be conducted off-list between individual
members.
As
solutions are found to problems posted, members
are encouraged to advise the general membership
of the solution.
Use of this mailing list may also include the posting of potential employment / work-related opportunities. This type of correspondence should always include a description of the work request and any related contact information. Respondents are required to reply to these messages off list and should be encouraged to do so within the posting.
ListServ members may not advertise any product or service through this private forum. This includes software, training, and other financial transaction services. Requests for these items are permitted but must be further discussed off list. If a member feels that one of these items is pertinent to the ListServ and would like to post related information, a request for review should be sent to info@isfce.com including the desired text to be posted.
Members
will not post any defamatory information
on the CCE ListServ and should refrain from
unprofessional message traffic. Any abuse
of the system will result in the member
being barred from posting further traffic
and may result in expulsion from the organization.
Privacy
Unless
we receive written instructions to the contrary,
we will only provide the names of Certified
Computer Examiners when we receive a valid
inquiry related to an actual case. This
inquiry must be made in writing by one of
the parties involved. We will not
provide any other information regarding
certified individuals to anyone else.
The
listing of certified individuals will be
maintained and updated regularly and should
be relied on for general inquiries. There
are some certified individuals who do not
wish their name on a public listing,
so the most accurate method to obtain information
is to contact us.
Statement
of Policy and Non-Discrimination
Membership
in the organization and eligibility for
the Certified Computer Examiner is open
to all persons regardless of race, color,
creed, or national origin. Every reasonable
accommodation is made to insure that all
individuals are able to participate in the
programs offered by the organization. All policy will comply with federal, state and local laws.
Because
of the sensitive nature of some methods
and skills, the ISFCE Certification Board may, at
it’s discretion, bar persons from nations
on the State Department’s list of nations
sponsoring terrorism from participation.
Applicants will be considered on a case-by-case
basis.
The
organization does not require that members
belong to any other organization, before
joining the International Society of Forensic
Computer Examiners.
